Here's my new template with news headlines.
Let's bring you up to date:
I moved to LA 2 years ago with my lover. I thought that making it in NYC meant making it anywhere. I'm a sucker for quick-fix lyrics. LA is a lot tougher to live in than NYC. I had to learn to understand a new language, LAese. The first few folks I met I took at face value. I mentioned my lyric-bases life, right? What a lesson that was. One job interview I went on had me shopping for a new car, because I interpreted "We are going to hire you and give you a $5000 car bonus." to mean that I got the job. Fortunately, my east coast skepticism was still intact, so I didn’t sign for any car loans.

The plan, at least the one I told everyone I was using, was to move to LA, get a medical writing gig, and work on the novel that was going to make me financially and vocationally secure. Yep, another quick lesson learned. A planner and his plan are soon parted.
After almost 6 months of using up all, almost to the dollar, of the money I had saved up, I finally found a job making $1.00 more than minimum wage doing medical proofreading.

I had a huge change in strategy and I accepted that I was going out into the world like the Buddha to start over and learn about suffering and toil, and life.
That’s what I’m going to be talking about here.

This story gets infinitely better. All in all things are turning out in ways that need to be talked about. So I’m talking.
